Verification process to prevent spammers! 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Hey everybody especially admin,

What you all thing about the introduction of a verification process before people become a real member.

Its like in order for people to become a member admin must send out by post (preferably only in Australia or maybe even New Zealand) physically a notice containing a special code that verifies a person existence kinda like PayPal's way to verifying a person identity. That way only real people could sign up.

Only a suggestion! Let me know, be interesting to see what other people thing!

I AGREE - HOWEVER PAYPAL ARE THE WORST - AS A SELLER YOU ARE GUILTY - THE BUYER WHETHER SACMMIMG OR NOT IS PRESUMED INNOCENT. WHAT ABOUT A COPY OF DRIVERS LIECNCE TO JOIN?

Hey WAPHONESNSTUFF, the thing with driver licenses anyone could be giving any number out, there is no way of you being able to verfiy that these numbers are right unless you have exclusive right to tap into VicRoads or any other road authority that have a data_base_ of driver licenses.

What I meant with the verification process, is when you want to become a member you sign up at techspace with your full address details only vieawable by admin, admin then sends out a verification notice via postage with maybe a special code. Once new members has received that code, he or she will submit it to admin via techspace, and there you go you got a verified members that *actually exists.

Hopefully things can be done with scammer, because I do not have the time to constantly check my messages, shouldn't they know better!!!
